THEY ARE BACK!! After a several year absence from the Rogue Festival, Altered Modalities is back with their passionate and innovative movement and their unique artistry. This performance will feature new work, past repertoire, and 2009 Central Valley Artist of the Year, pianist Gina Leneé.

Beautifully trained dancers and intricate choreography make this show worth seeing. The show gets better as it goes on, and aside from a couple of awkward breaks (to let those hard-working dancers breathe!) the show flows beautifully and is the perfect length. Can be appreciated by dancers and non-dancers alike. Great way for me to start Rogue!
Graceful and athletic, these dancers put on a great show. Definitely worth seeing!
Nicely choreographed and dancers are consistent and lithe. Second piece was particularly effective in its soft, integrated, flowing movement that captivated the imagination. Difficulty with contemporary dance is varying the movement and here is no exception. Lots of high leg lifts, supported leg extensions, and other repetitions. Otherwise- enjoyable.
